What is word for word theatre?

Word for word theatre is when a theatre company stages a short story or novel right from the book. The text is all treated like dialogue, and acted just like a play, but the language is that of the original author. BEHS is producing Wind in the Willows this way to highlight the importance of reading, and we are working in conjunction with our school library.
Please come share this delightful performance with us!
